Iron Survival, LLC is a full spectrum emergency preparedness and tactical training company, operated by military and law enforcement veterans. We provide meaningful instruction and practical knowledge based on years of experience in military special operations and law enforcement, as well as personal and group survival and emergency preparedness. We are located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks - "God's American Redoubt."
As in the world of special operations, our emphasis is on mastery of fundamentals, and human-centric tactics and techniques. It is critical to your survival that you first learn and master the fundamentals of each tactic and technique, without reliance on technology. In doing so, you must train down to the lowest common denominator. Once you have fully mastered the fundamentals at the lowest common denominator, you are prepared to perform in any circumstance. At that point, any available technology is more appropriately a force multiplier, rather than a required crutch. To be clear, mastery cannot be achieved through a single class, or by occasional practice and training. As Vince Lombardi once said, "Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect." Only perfect and constant repetitive practice leads to mastery.
If you were curious, yes - the "Iron" in the name "Iron Survival" was specially selected as a reference to Proverbs 27:17. "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." It appropriately reflects our sincere desire to sharpen you and your skills, to push you to perform and grow, to help you to be better prepared to protect yourself and your loved ones, and survive any circumstance, while at the same time expanding our warrior fellowship and continuously improving our relationship with God in the process.
